After her father retired from the military, Rosa's family settled down in Talihina, Oklahoma. There, she graduated from high school and went on to attend college at St. Gregory's University and The University of Oklahoma. After teaching, some of her friends talked her into the industry. She was hooked after she was cast in the feature film Serving Sara Scandal Made Me Famous 7.
