After receiving their grant, artists of various disciplines got to work researching, creating, and presenting new projects. Some completed their work a few months after, and others have yet to finish, but all the artists used their funding to expand their art practice and contribute to the Albuquerque art scene as a whole. Each organization worked with a group of 18 artists to further their work through a meaningful, perhaps collaborative, commitment to their creative expression.

One of my great objectives in class is for the student to have a sense of belonging to the group, to be able to be themselves and to feel confident in what they are doing. These values are applicable to everything in life, in any area. Therefore together we would create a better society, based on companionship, love and respect for one another.
