Gore opposed the Vietnam Warbut said that his sense of civic duty compelled him to enlist in the U. Gore quit law school in March to run for the U. He was elected four times. He is a fighter for issues involving the environment. He released a movie in about global warming and climate change called An Inconvenient Truthwhich was based on a slide show he had given to millions of people. Interest in having Gore run for the Presidential election arose in and again in Gore did not run in and has expressed no interest to run in future elections.

Gore testifies about global warming during a hearing held by the Congress committee on energy and commerce. The Scottish executive announces plans to screen Gore's documentary as part of its geography curriculum.
